New show sets itself apart with lifestyle concept store theme
SK Stoa announced Wednesday that it is launching Mega Jin, a new lifestyle and living program featuring differentiated products in line with seasonal trends.
The program is built around a "lifestyle concept store" theme, with the slogan "the joy of choosing well and living well," setting it apart from conventional home shopping broadcasts. The name combines "magazine" — evoking trend curation — with "mega," suggesting an overwhelming sense of style and value, and "Jin," taken from the name of show host Kang Yeon-jin.
AI visual content will be integrated throughout the program to vividly showcase each product's key features. The show will also emphasize real-time interactive presentation, with Kang's voice guiding viewers as if in direct conversation, to create a sense of energy and immersion.
SK Stoa plans to tailor this month's content to the fall season, when demand for interior decoration, deep cleaning, and kitchen and lifestyle product upgrades typically peaks. The debut broadcast, set for 10:21 a.m. Saturday, will feature a special Portmeirion collection marking the brand's 27th anniversary. Exclusive bundles and reward credits of up to 50,000 won ($36) will also be available. For three months after launch, all customers who write a review of a Mega Jin broadcast product will receive a Mega Coffee mobile coupon.
Kim Hyung-jun, head of SK Stoa's broadcast operations division, said Mega Jin is "an ambitious program packed with premium products carefully selected to meet the discerning tastes of trend-conscious customers, along with practical benefits you won't find anywhere else," adding that it will "establish itself as the definitive flagship program in SK Stoa's lifestyle and living category."
