Korea Investment & Securities completed its August MTS overhaul, upgrading pension asset management features across the platform, the company announced Wednesday.

The revamp focused on consolidating pension-related functions that had been scattered across multiple menus and improving the overall convenience of asset management. A dedicated "pension home" tab was created by separating the pension section from the existing product home, bringing pension savings and retirement pension products and services into a single space.

The "my total pension assets" screen was also redesigned. Pension asset valuations and performance trends, previously available only on a previous-day basis, can now be tracked in real time.

The ETF accumulation investment feature for retirement pension accounts was also enhanced, allowing customers to set their preferred retirement pension-eligible securities and purchase frequency for automatic recurring purchases.

A new "US whole-share accumulation" service was introduced to meet demand for installment-style investing. On top of the existing fractional-share accumulation option, customers can now set up automatic purchases of full shares of their chosen US stocks at regular intervals.

The platform is also expanding its "US stock real-time after-hours trading rankings" for customers who use the after-hours trading service, letting them monitor trading trends and popular securities in real time during after-hours sessions.

The "profit and loss trends" tab was also redesigned with a more visual and intuitive layout, letting customers see at a glance how their assets have changed over time.

Korea Investment & Securities is also expanding customer services through its open API, which supports market data queries for domestic and overseas stocks, futures and options, and exchange-traded bonds, as well as account checking and order and trading functions. The company plans to continue strengthening its differentiated digital investment environment.

"Pension is an asset that requires long-term management, so it is important to have an environment where customers can check their status at any time and consistently manage their holdings," a company official said. "We will continue to develop our MTS into a comprehensive asset management platform that covers not just trading but also pension and long-term asset building."
