CJ ONE points now earnable, redeemable via Naver Pay

CJ ONE is teaming up with Naver Pay, which counts about 34 million users, to link its membership benefits to Naver Pay transactions and expand convenience for customers.
CJ Olive Networks announced Wednesday that its lifestyle membership program CJ ONE has entered into a partnership with Naver Pay to launch an integrated membership service. Through the tie-up, CJ ONE aims to improve payment convenience and make membership benefits more accessible to users.
CJ ONE has been expanding its business scope beyond lifestyle categories such as dining, leisure and shopping into payment platforms. With smartphone app payments and offline contactless payments now mainstream, the company said it intends to maximize membership benefits for users at the point of payment.
CJ ONE said it chose Naver Pay because the platform offers a comprehensive payment and points ecosystem through a single app — covering online payments, offline in-store payments, and reservations and orders. With Naver Pay's membership base of more than 34 million, CJ ONE said linking its benefits to the platform would meaningfully improve user convenience.
CJ ONE members can add the CJ ONE membership through the "Add Membership" menu in the Naver Pay app or on its website. Members can also earn and use CJ ONE points when paying with Naver Pay at offline partner locations.
CJ ONE expects the partnership to broaden membership accessibility. Members will be able to earn and redeem points not only at CJ Group brands — CJ Olive Young, Tous les Jours and CGV — but also at other lifestyle brands including E-mart24 and Ground Seesaw.
"We designed this service so that CJ ONE members can enjoy seamless benefits across the various payment environments they encounter in daily life," said Im A-jin, the CJ ONE manager overseeing the initiative. "Going forward, we will continue to offer differentiated customer experiences and benefits unique to CJ ONE, so that members can earn and use membership points across a wide range of payment platforms."
