Comedian Jung Jun-ha has drawn attention after commenting on fellow entertainer Ji Sang-ryul's drinking habits.
In a video titled "Season 3 — More to Say" on the YouTube channel "Aldalddalhan Chamgyeon," posted Tuesday, Jung was asked by Muzy about his alcohol tolerance. "I drink quite a lot. It hasn't gone down lately either," he said.
Heo Gyeong-hwan responded, saying Jung was "probably at the very top of the entertainment industry" when it comes to drinking.
Jung shot back, "If I get serious about drinking, you're all done." Heo then asked which celebrity seemed to drink the most, adding, "Sang-ryul has been having a rough time lately, hasn't he?"
Jung played it up, saying Ji "doesn't even come close to a baby's toe count" in terms of alcohol capacity.
Muzy said Ji still carries himself with pride about his drinking. "When someone asks if he drinks well, he pours out this much whiskey and downs it," Muzy said.
Muzy then offered a more charitable take. "One thing I've always thought well of Sang-ryul for is that he's there at every funeral I go to," he said.
Jung was quick to reframe it. "You're putting a positive spin on it," he said. "The truth is he causes trouble with drinking at every funeral he goes to. Lately I've been thinking, this is going to end badly for him."
