'Anpanman X LG Twins Pop-up Store' at Jamsil Baseball Stadium, Friday–Monday

Anpanman to throw ceremonial first pitch Saturday, Germ Man to bat; collaboration products on sale

Partnership expands 12 years after Anpanman's return to Korean theaters

Popular character Anpanman is joining forces with professional baseball club LG Twins to open a pop-up store at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. Anpanman and Germ Man will also take part in the ceremonial first pitch and first at-bat, respectively.

Choirak Contents Company announced Tuesday that it will operate the "Anpanman X LG Twins Pop-up Store" at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul from Friday through Monday. The collaboration combines the intellectual property of the Anpanman character with that of the LG Twins, who won the Korean Series in 2023 and 2025.

A pop-up store and photo zone will be set up throughout the stadium during the event. The store will carry a range of collaboration products, including adult and children's uniforms, pet uniforms, a marking kit, a two-tone zip-up jacket, T-shirts, ball caps, baseballs, drawstring pouches, emblem badges, character badges, iron-on patches, acrylic keyrings, cooling towels and cheering scarves. Related products will also be available online through the LG Twins Collab Shop.

At the LG Twins home game Saturday, a costumed Anpanman character will take the mound for the ceremonial first pitch, while Germ Man will step up for the ceremonial first at-bat.

Anpanman returned to Korean theaters in May for the first time in 12 years with the animated film "Anpanman: Saikinman to Ehon no Rurun," a story in which Anpanman and Germ Man join forces to overcome a crisis.

A company official said the venue had been designed so visitors could "experience the world of Anpanman throughout Jamsil Baseball Stadium," adding that the lineup would include not only merchandise popular with the MZ generation but also items the whole family could enjoy.
