Yeongcheon city in North Gyeongsang Province has assigned a new street name and address to the access road and key facilities at Let's Run Park Yeongcheon ahead of the racetrack park's opening, the city announced Tuesday.

The access road leading into the park has been designated "Gyeongmagongwon-ro," while major facilities inside — including the grandstand and community center — have been given the address "Gyeongmagongwon-ro 1."

The new street name was decided after gathering public input and clearing a review by the address information committee, with the name chosen to reflect the symbolic identity of Let's Run Park Yeongcheon.

The city plans to develop Let's Run Park Yeongcheon as a new regional growth hub while continuing to expand address information and transportation and tourism infrastructure for visitors.

"The street addresses Gyeongmagongwon-ro and Gyeongmagongwon-ro 1 were assigned with both symbolism and intuitiveness in mind, so that first-time visitors to Let's Run Park Yeongcheon can easily and conveniently find their destination," Yeongcheon Mayor Kim Byong-sam said.
