Yecheon-gun in North Gyeongsang Province announced Monday that it will run a discount coupon event on its agricultural products online shopping mall, Yecheon Jangter, ahead of the chuseok holiday.
The event runs from Monday through Sept. 22.
Shoppers on Yecheon Jangter can use discount coupons based on their purchase amount: 5 percent off on orders of 20,000 won ($14) or more, 10 percent off on orders of 50,000 won or more, and 15 percent off on orders of 100,000 won or more. The maximum discount is capped at 100,000 won.
Delivery orders must be placed by Sept. 21. The event may end early if the allocated budget runs out.
"We hope this event gives people a chance to stock up on trustworthy local farm products from Yecheon Jangter and share a warm and generous chuseok with family and neighbors," Yecheon County Chief An Byeong-yun said.
