A man arrested for driving without a license was found to have a drug syringe in his vehicle.
According to the Seoul Dongdaemun Police Station, a man in his 30s, identified only as A, was apprehended on charges of driving without a license from Gangdong-gu to Seongdong-gu in Seoul on Thursday morning — a distance of 17 kilometers.
Officers who responded to a report and detained A searched his vehicle and found a syringe used for drug injection. A subsequent field drug test came back positive.
Police booked A on additional charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act and are investigating the circumstances of the offenses.
