Korea District Heating President Ha Dong-geun said "ethics and human rights are the most fundamental principles for becoming a public enterprise trusted by the people, and the starting point for sustainable management."

Korea District Heating held a ceremony Thursday to proclaim its Charter on Ethical and Human Rights Management, reaffirming the company's commitment to putting those principles into practice.

The charter revision and proclamation ceremony reflected President Ha's drive to incorporate the latest standards on ethics and human rights and respond to a changing business environment. The initiative focused on providing employees with concrete behavioral guidelines and value-judgment criteria to help them internalize ethical and human rights principles.

The revised ethics charter sets out five core principles: compliance with the employee code of conduct and prevention of conflicts of interest; building public trust through safety management; respect for stakeholders and eradication of corruption; fostering an open organizational culture through communication; and leading ESG management while contributing to social development.
