Lee Ji-hyun, a former member of the K-pop group Jewelry, shared an update about a special encounter with a fan who traveled from China to visit her hair salon.

Lee posted on Instagram on Wednesday that the fan had come all the way from China, bringing along an interpreter to help communicate. She described the visitor as someone who had been a fan since childhood and runs a YouTube channel with a large collection of Jewelry videos.

"I will never forget the warm words of encouragement passed along through the interpreter — I was truly moved," Lee wrote, and went on to say, "My Chinese fan, who was so fun and cheerful — how was the restaurant I recommended?" She added that she hoped "100 percent of my grateful heart was conveyed" and closed with, "Let's definitely meet again."

Lee has recently embarked on a second chapter in life, obtaining beauty qualifications and developing her skills before taking on the role of director at a hair salon. She consistently shares glimpses of her daily life there on her personal account, including moments styling customers' hair.

Meanwhile, Lee has been raising her daughter and son on her own following two divorces, in 2016 and 2020.
