The Busan Port Authority (BPA) announced Thursday that it will hold the 2026 Busan Port AI Innovation Workshop at its headquarters on Sept. 8.
The workshop, the third of its kind this year, is designed to offer practical AI education to BPA employees, representatives of related industries and organizations, and members of the public interested in the topic, as the era of AI transformation across industries accelerates.
The event will run across two sessions, each led by an expert speaker. Park Hyeon-yeong, director of the Lifestyle Change Observatory and a specialist in big data trend research, will open with a lecture titled "Lifestyle Trends in the AI Era," covering data-driven shifts in everyday life.
Then Lee Ji-hoon — known online as "Easy Teacher Lee" — will lead a session on practical design content creation using Canva AI. A YouTuber with 200,000 subscribers and South Korea's first official Canva education partner, Lee will teach visual content production skills applicable to both working professionals and students.
The workshop is open to all, including residents, students and port industry workers. Registration is available through the BPA website (www.busanpa.com) through Sept. 4.
