Comedian Ahn Young-mi has returned to her radio DJ duties just two months after taking leave to give birth to her second child.

Ahn rejoined listeners Wednesday as host of MBC FM4U's "Two O'Clock Date with Ahn Young-mi."

She had stepped away from the show on June 21 to prepare for the birth and delivered a healthy baby boy at a Seoul hospital on June 25.

On her comeback broadcast, Ahn told listeners she had recently stopped breastfeeding. When fans noticed a bandage on the back of her hand and expressed concern, she said it was due to housewife's eczema. "I had eczema from early in my pregnancy and my hands were a mess," she said. "I couldn't apply any medication while pregnant, but now that I've stopped breastfeeding I can finally use it."

She also drew laughs recounting how she had tried the dance challenge for "BAD" by the group Ateez. "Before, whenever I saw idols, I thought of them like sons because I'm a mom now — I'd just think, 'I hope my child grows up like that,'" she said. "But then I saw San dancing and my heart suddenly started racing. I felt alive. I thought, 'Yes! This is it!'"

Ahn also opened up about the challenges of raising multiple children. "I've always been prepared for the sleepless nights, so that's fine," she said. "But my first child gets a little jealous, and I have to be careful not to hurt his feelings with a single word — I have to manage his emotions at the same time, so it feels like running two households at once."

Ahn married a non-celebrity who works for a foreign company in 2020 and has maintained a long-distance marriage between the United States and South Korea. She gave birth to her first son in the United States in 2023, which drew controversy over so-called "birth tourism."

"Two O'Clock Date with Ahn Young-mi" on MBC FM4U premiered on June 3, 2024, and airs daily from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
