Seven Vietnamese nationals have been arrested for allegedly taking drugs together at a foreigners-only club in Incheon.

The Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station said Tuesday it had apprehended seven Vietnamese nationals, including a man in his 20s identified as A, on charges of violating the Act on the Control of Narcotics.

The suspects are accused of taking ecstasy at a foreigners-only club in Nonhyeon-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon, in the early hours of Monday.

Police administered field drug tests on the group, and after all seven returned positive results, officers placed them under emergency arrest.

The investigation revealed that six of the seven were in the country illegally.

Police said they plan to conduct further inquiries into how the suspects obtained the drugs.
