LG Electronics announced Tuesday it has partnered with the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York to bring celebrated works to customers through its art content service LG Gallery+.

The lineup includes more than 100 renowned works, among them Édouard Manet's "The Monet Family in Their Garden at Argenteuil," William Merritt Chase's "At the Seaside" and Severin Roesen's "Still Life with Flowers and Fruit."

LG Gallery+ customers can enjoy world-class works on their televisions and recreate a gallery atmosphere at home without traveling to New York.

LG Electronics has also teamed up with art platform Saatchi Art and others to offer contemporary artworks alongside game illustrations, film posters and nature photography, bringing the total catalog to more than 5,000 pieces.

The company offers a range of art-focused TV models, including the LG OLED Evo AI G6, the LG Signature OLED W and the LG Gallery TV AI. Customers who purchase an LG art TV receive a three-month complimentary LG Gallery+ subscription.

LG Electronics said it plans to keep expanding the LG Gallery+ content library through partnerships with additional collaborators.

"We will continue to strengthen our art content so that customers can use their LG TV as a digital frame to enjoy their favorite content — from fine art to games — and complete the interior of their own space," said Jo Byung-ha, executive vice president and head of the webOS platform business center at LG Electronics' Media Solution Business Division.
