"Lotte World Tower must now reinvent itself as a multipurpose cultural space that gives back its value to society."

Acting on that vision from Lotte Chairman Shin Dong-bin, Lotte held the 2026 Lotte Summer Classic Concert at World Park in Lotte World Tower on Sunday.

Held under the theme "A Midsummer Night's Classic in the City, Invited by Lotte," the performance featured pieces ranging from traditional classical works to film and animation soundtracks — a program designed to appeal to audiences of all ages. Conductor Jeong Han-gyeol and the Ditto Chamber Orchestra led the evening, joined on stage by violinist Danny Koo, tenor John Noh and bandoneon player Ko Sang-ji.

The concert drew 4,500 visitors, reflecting the growing appeal of Lotte World Tower and Lotte World Mall. The two venues together surpassed 500 million cumulative visitors in February. A Lotte official said the company plans to continue organizing a diverse lineup of events "so that Lotte World Tower can establish itself as a cultural landmark that any citizen can visit and enjoy."
