Ottogi said Friday it deployed its "Yellow Kitchen" food truck to support the Ministry of National Defense's Agency for KIA Recovery and Identification, known by its Korean acronym Guyudan.

The event was held Wednesday at the Guyudan garrison inside Seoul National Cemetery and served about 500 people in total, including 300 Guyudan soldiers, a military band and the cemetery's honor guard. Ottogi volunteers provided UNO square pizza and O'Chef beverages.

"We organized this food truck support to express our gratitude for the hard work of Guyudan soldiers," a company official said. "We will continue to support the troops who dedicate themselves to the nation and carry out a variety of patriotic social contribution activities to fulfill our corporate social responsibility."

Guyudan was established in April 2000 as part of the 50th anniversary commemoration project for the Korean War. A direct affiliate of the Ministry of National Defense, the agency is responsible for excavating and identifying the remains of soldiers killed in the Korean War. It operates both domestically and abroad, conducting forensic and genetic identification, collecting DNA samples from bereaved families of fallen soldiers and managing related data.
