Golf brand Volvik is hosting the 2026 Volvik National Park Golf Championship, the country's largest national park golf tournament, and is now accepting registrations from players across South Korea.
The competition opens with a first-round regional qualifier for the Chungcheong region on Sept. 6-7, followed by qualifying rounds in the Gyeongsang, Jeolla and Greater Seoul areas. The 300 finalists will compete in the championship round on Oct. 19 at Asias Park Golf Course in Incheon.
The tournament is expected to draw about 5,300 participants nationwide and offers a total prize package worth 500 million won — comprising 100 million won ($71,300) in prize money and 400 million won in awards and gifts. Participants may enter qualifying rounds in all four regions regardless of where they live.
Players who use both Volvik park golf clubs and balls during competition will have any prize money they win doubled.
"This tournament will be a great competitive stage for park golf enthusiasts across the country," a Volvik official said. "With a total prize package worth 500 million won on the line, we hope to see strong interest and participation."
