Quarterly cabin satisfaction surveys drive push for high-speed in-flight Wi-Fi
Parata Air said Wednesday it will continue conducting quarterly cabin service satisfaction surveys to better incorporate customer feedback into its operations.
The airline runs the surveys each quarter through its flight operations division to gather passengers' firsthand experiences during flights. Results are shared with relevant departments — including cabin crew, flight operations and service teams — to identify areas for improvement and feed directly into service enhancement efforts.
The third survey of the third quarter, conducted in July, recorded high satisfaction scores across the board, covering cabin crew service, likelihood of repeat travel and the cabin environment. Customers particularly cited crew friendliness, smooth and stable flights, and spacious, comfortable seating as the top reasons for their satisfaction.
At the same time, passengers raised a range of suggestions for a more convenient travel experience, including requests for better in-flight Wi-Fi, improved entertainment options, blanket availability and enhanced mobile web services.
Parata Air said it is translating that customer feedback into concrete service improvements. In direct response to demand for in-flight Wi-Fi, the airline is working to introduce low-earth-orbit (LEO) satellite-based high-speed Wi-Fi on its Airbus A330-200 aircraft, with the related contract in its final stages.
Once in place, passengers on long-haul routes will be able to enjoy uninterrupted internet connectivity throughout their flights. Parata Air is targeting the launch of Los Angeles route service next year.
"The customer satisfaction survey is not simply about reviewing results — it is a process for turning the voice of our customers into real service improvements," a Parata Air official said. "We will continue to communicate closely with our customers and work to provide an ever more comfortable and satisfying travel experience."
