A heavily intoxicated customer at a bar in Incheon urinated into a trash can sitting on a table, shocking staff and other patrons, according to a tip shared publicly.
JTBC's "Sageon Banjang," a crime and incident news program, aired the account Monday, submitted by a bar owner identified only as A.
According to A, an elderly man entered the bar around 10 p.m. on Aug. 3 and ordered tteokbokki soup and a bottle of soju, spending roughly 20,000 to 30,000 won ($21). He appeared to already be drunk when he walked in.
About an hour later, a staff member noticed his condition and suggested he head home, saying he looked far too intoxicated — but he refused to leave.
Around midnight, the man undid his belt, picked up a trash can from the table and urinated into it on the spot.
Most of the other customers in the bar at the time were women, as were the staff on duty.
A, who learned of the situation by phone from an employee, instructed the staff to call police. The man was arrested on charges of public indecency and dining and dashing.
A added that the man is believed to be the same person who dined and dashed at the bar two months earlier.
