The National Nakdong River Biological Resources Center announced Tuesday that it has launched its 4th Junior Board, a staff panel tasked with driving institutional innovation.
The Junior Board was first introduced in 2023 and has since played an active role in shaping how the center operates — engaging directly with senior management, observing board meetings and participating in committees that review management reform initiatives.
The newly launched 4th cohort has been expanded to 11 members to incorporate a broader range of perspectives from across the organization.
Members will carry out independent activities in organizational culture improvement and institutional innovation through December next year.
"I hope this expanded 4th cohort, bringing together staff from a wide range of departments, will serve as a driving force for a more flexible organizational culture," center director Yong Seok-won said. "We will actively support young employees so their voices translate into real change."
