The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education is holding the second round of 2026 high school equivalency exams Tuesday at seven test sites, including Maeho Middle School.
A total of 1,950 candidates are sitting the exams — 69 for the elementary school level, 239 for middle school and 1,642 for high school. The group includes 11 candidates with disabilities, seven inmates and 23 juvenile detention center residents.
Elementary and middle school candidates are testing at Maeho Middle School, while high school candidates sit at Gosan Middle School, Seongji Middle School and Gyeongbuk Technical High School. Inmates are testing at Daegu Prison, juvenile detainees at Daegu Juvenile Detention Center, and candidates with disabilities at Daegu Health School.
