Actress Seo Hye-won has announced she is pregnant, four months after revealing her marriage.
On Monday, Seo posted photos on her Instagram accompanied by a heart emoji. The images showed baby clothes, a stuffed toy and gifts celebrating the birth. She did not include a written caption.
A note visible in the photos read: "Wishing and looking forward to the arrival of Hye-won's baby — be a happy mother."
Fans flooded the comments with well-wishes, writing "Congratulations," "Wishing you a safe and healthy delivery" and "Hope you get to meet a beautiful baby."
Earlier, Seo announced her marriage in April by posting a handwritten letter on social media. "I would like to carefully share some personal news," she wrote at the time. "I have found a precious partner who has promised to share our lives together and has become my spouse."
Seo added that the couple had wed through a quiet, private ceremony rather than a formal wedding. "Since we became husband and wife through our own quiet vows instead of holding a wedding ceremony, I ask for your generous understanding that I was unable to greet you in person," she said.
"I will hold that precious love and encouragement deep in my heart, and I will strive to show further growth as an actor," she added.
When the marriage news broke, Byeon Woo-seok, her co-star on the tvN drama series "Run Into You," left a comment saying, "Congratulations!"
Born in 1993, Seo made her debut with the 2018 web drama series "Han Ip Man." She went on to play Lee Hyun-ju, the best friend of Im Sol (played by Kim Hye-yun), in the 2024 drama series "Run Into You."
