Misto announced Thursday that its Malaysian subsidiary opened four new stores in key retail districts including Kuala Lumpur and Penang in the first half of this year, bringing the total number of FILA stores in Malaysia to 14.

Malaysia serves as a hub connecting major Southeast Asian countries and has a retail infrastructure centered on shopping malls. Misto Malaysia is expanding its retail network around prime commercial areas while focusing on enhancing the customer experience.

The new store at Gurney Plaza, a leading shopping mall in Penang, operates as the first FILA 1911 Store in Southeast Asia. It features lifestyle and performance product lines as well as a dedicated space showcasing the brand's history and heritage. At more than 198 square meters, it is the third flagship-scale store in the country, following locations at Sunway Pyramid and Mid Valley Southkey.

Misto plans to roll out the FILA 1911 Store concept to major Southeast Asian markets including Thailand and Indonesia. "Malaysia is a core strategic base for expanding into the Southeast Asian market," a company official said. "We will build a retail environment that conveys the brand's history, values and sports heritage."
