BAT Korea Rothmans said it will officially launch the glo Hyper Pro+, a new product under its glo heated tobacco brand, on Aug. 18.
The device uses QuickStart technology to cut preheating time to 10 seconds — twice as fast as the previous glo Hyper Pro in standard heating mode. As of June, it is the fastest-heating heated tobacco device on the South Korean market, excluding hybrid-type models.
The EasyView screen carried over from its predecessor lets users check heating status, usage mode and remaining battery level at a glance. A newly added Easy Care function sends on-screen alerts when the device needs maintenance.
The product supports two heating modes: Boost, which delivers full flavor for three minutes, and Standard, which provides a smoother taste over five minutes. The battery charges to 80 percent in 60 minutes and reaches a full charge in 90 minutes.
The glo Hyper Pro+ comes in four colors — Stellar Silver, Graphite, Blue and Moss Green — and is priced at 49,000 won ($35). Ahead of the official launch, pre-orders will be available on the MyGlo platform and glo's official Naver Smart Store from 10 a.m. Monday through midnight on Aug. 17.
