Peugeot is discounting genuine parts by up to 20 percent to help lower repair and maintenance costs for vehicles more than four years old, with deeper discounts for longer ownership and free engine oil changes for select customers who have driven more than 110,000 kilometers.
The French automaker announced Monday it will run its "Long Life Care" campaign for long-term owners through Sept. 30.
The campaign covers all Peugeot models registered four or more years ago. Vehicles between four and six years old receive a 10 percent discount on genuine parts, those between six and eight years old get 15 percent off, and vehicles eight years old or older qualify for the maximum 20 percent discount.
Customers can also receive a free vehicle inspection during the campaign period. Accessories and brand products are discounted 20 percent, and customers who spend 200,000 won ($141) or more on paid repairs will receive a full-length umbrella as a gift.
A separate program is available for high-mileage vehicles. It targets owners whose cars have accumulated more than 110,000 km since first registration and who have not visited an authorized Peugeot service center in the past year.
Customers who book through the Naver reservation system at any nationwide service center between Aug. 18 and Aug. 25 and complete their service by Sept. 30 will receive a complimentary genuine premium engine oil change. The offer is limited to the first 500 applicants.
The campaign reflects a broader effort to extend Peugeot's customer touchpoints beyond new-car sales to include ongoing vehicle upkeep. After-sales service is becoming increasingly important for imported vehicle brands, as maintenance costs — including parts and labor — can rise sharply once the warranty period ends, making it harder to retain long-term owners.
Stellantis Korea has also been expanding its service network. In January, the company relocated and expanded the Stellantis Brand House Suwon Service Center in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, which handles both Jeep and Peugeot vehicles.
"We designed this campaign to ease the maintenance burden on customers who have driven Peugeot vehicles for many years," said Bang Sil, CEO of Stellantis Korea. "We will continue to expand our after-sales programs so customers can drive their vehicles with confidence for years to come."
