K-pop group Izna is counting down to its official Japan debut, releasing its title track early as part of a push into the local market.

According to its agency Wake One, Izna dropped "DUMB HOT!" — the title track of its first Japanese mini-album "HANDLE WITH CARE" — across major streaming platforms at midnight Friday.

The new song captures the self-assured confidence of Gen Z, conveying a message of shining through one's own charm rather than bending to others' expectations. It pairs an upbeat rhythm and an addictive melody with Izna's signature dreamy vocal tone.

Izna had already built a solid fandom in Japan before its official debut. The group took the stage at Summer Sonic 2025 last August, demonstrating its standout performance capabilities.

The group further cemented its presence through multiple avenues: releasing the local TV commercial song "Love All" and its first Japanese-language track "BEEP Japan Edition," both of which topped major charts including iTunes and AWA; selling out its first fan concert in January; and launching its own variety show "What is N/a?" For the Japan debut, the group has partnered with Sony Music Labels, one of the country's leading record labels.

Izna will officially release the five-track mini-album "HANDLE WITH CARE" on Sept. 2, featuring the original new songs "DUMB HOT!" and "HEADACHE" alongside Japanese-language versions of existing fan favorites. A debut showcase is set for Sept. 6 to kick off its activities in the country.
