"Agent Kim Reactivated" concluded Saturday with its 10th and final episode. The finale depicted a happy ending for Agent Kim (played by So Ji-sub), who joins forces with Seong Han-su (Choi Dae-hoon) and Park Jin-cheol (Yoon Gyeong-ho) to bring down Ju Gang-chan (Ju Sang-wook) and reclaim a quiet everyday life with his daughter Kim Min-ji (Seo Su-min).

So drew wide praise for bringing depth and dimension to the character — delivering weighty action sequences, a rich bromance with Choi Dae-hoon and Yoon Gyeong-ho, and a nuanced emotional arc rooted in fierce paternal love that critics said gave rise to a one-of-a-kind character.

Driven by So's performance, the series broke its own viewership record with each episode, surpassing the 20 percent mark and finishing as the No. 1 miniseries of 2026 in South Korea. It also topped Netflix's non-English TV show chart globally for three consecutive weeks, drawing strong responses from audiences around the world.

The finale recorded 23.4 percent viewership in the Greater Seoul area and 23.0 percent nationwide, with a peak minute rating of 27.1 percent, according to Nielsen Korea — a series high.
