Yuanta Securities Korea announced Monday it will launch "Investment Insight Live," an online seminar series designed to deliver timely investment insights to retail investors.
The monthly series invites analysts from Yuanta Securities Korea's research center to review domestic and overseas equity markets. Each session breaks down current market issues, investment strategies and complex market trends in a format accessible to general investors.
The inaugural seminar, themed "What's going on in the stock market lately? (Second-quarter earnings fact check)," will stream live on the Yuanta Securities Korea YouTube channel Wednesday at 2 p.m., timed to coincide with the second-quarter earnings season.
Kim Ho-jeong, a researcher on the investment strategy team, will open the session by assessing equity market trends amid a macro environment of heightened interest rate and exchange rate volatility. Researcher Lee Jae-won will then present second-half investment strategies based on the top-performing sectors in the second quarter. The seminar is free and open to anyone who searches for the "Yuanta Securities Korea" channel on YouTube and joins the live broadcast on the day.
"The faster the market environment changes, the more important the basis for investment judgment becomes," said Shin Nam-seok, head of Yuanta Securities Korea's retail business division. "Through monthly seminars, we will continue to provide a balanced perspective on the market and practical investment insights, strengthening our role as a financial partner that supports our customers' successful asset management."
Yuanta Securities Korea has also been offering its "AI PB" service since June, upgrading the AI content within its mobile trading system (MTS) to deliver personalized investment information. The service uses generative AI technology to analyze investment data and related news, providing customers with tailored content including AI market briefings, an AI stock explainer series and AI issue picks.
