Ulsan city is conducting its 2026 resident registration fact-finding survey from Monday through Oct. 26, checking whether all residents are registered at their actual place of residence.
A remote survey will run through Sept. 7, followed by in-person visits from Sept. 8 through Oct. 26. The remote phase is designed to ease the burden on households — particularly dual-income and single-person households — before neighborhood representatives conduct door-to-door visits targeting households that did not participate remotely or require closer scrutiny.
During the remote phase, residents log in to the Government24 app from their registered address and respond to the survey questions. One person per household may respond on behalf of all members sharing the same address.
Among households subject to in-person visits, those flagged for priority investigation include households with residents aged 100 or older, those with long-term whereabouts-unknown individuals of five or more years, suspected deaths, welfare-vulnerable residents, and children with prolonged unexcused absences or school-age children not enrolled in school.
Based on the survey results, civil servants will conduct follow-up checks from Oct. 27 through Nov. 9. Households with registration discrepancies will go through a notification and public announcement process from Nov. 10 through Nov. 30, with registration records corrected from Dec. 1 through Dec. 7.
