Dunamu announced Monday it is expanding recruitment for its GASOK program — designed to discover builders, developers and founders with innovative ideas — through the end of this month.

The GASOK program is a developer support initiative aimed at encouraging decentralized application (dApp) developers worldwide to make greater use of Giwa. Its motto is to give participants an environment where they can focus solely on development. Selected individuals and teams receive free infrastructure support covering all aspects of development and operations.

Giwa is a Web3 infrastructure platform built and operated directly by Dunamu. It currently encompasses Giwa Chain, a high-performance layer-2 blockchain, and Giwa Wallet, a user-friendly digital wallet.

Top-performing teams will be eligible for prizes of up to $100,000, as well as an opportunity to pitch their products directly at Korea Blockchain Week 2026 (KBW2026), the country's largest blockchain conference.

Unlike a hackathon, the program is a technology incubation and acceleration program spanning more than five months, with a focus on actual product development, mainnet deployment and long-term ecosystem integration — similar to Google's developer support program for the Android ecosystem.

Participating teams will gain hands-on experience with Web3 technology alongside the accumulated infrastructure expertise behind Upbit. They will also receive financial support and networking opportunities. Winning teams will receive milestone-based grants of up to $100,000.

Teams will also have the opportunity to pitch their products directly to top-tier global venture capital firms at KBW2026. Selected teams will be able to showcase their full capabilities with the backing of industry experts.

The expanded recruitment round is open to any individual or team with fresh ideas and strong development skills. Preference will be given to "native builders" who have a deep understanding of the Giwa ecosystem and can bring original ideas to life. Apps that make Web3 accessible to users unfamiliar with the technology will also receive significant bonus consideration.

The GASOK program launched its first recruitment round in May and expanded following strong market interest. While the first round accepted applicants with ideas alone, the second round requires participants to submit concrete deliverables: a pitch deck, an MVP demo video or accessible website, a public smart contract link, and documentation containing technical details.

Selected teams will be invited to deploy their products directly and receive intensive acceleration support within a whitelist-based private mainnet environment for Giwa.
