MetLife Korea announced Wednesday that it is operating the "With U" customer experience program series, a suite of initiatives designed to accompany customers across every stage of life — from childbirth and child-rearing through retirement.
The With U series begins with With U Baby, which celebrates new parents by gifting baby products and other childcare items. It also includes With U Hyo, a family-oriented program that provides personalized gifts for parents along with health consultation vouchers through the company's comprehensive health management service, 360 Health, and With U Pet, which offers supplies for customers with companion animals.
Rounding out the lineup are With U BFF (Best Friend), a relationship-building program for long-term customers who have maintained their policies for 10 or more years, and With U Volunteer, which ties into the company's corporate social responsibility activities. MetLife has since added With U New Beginning — aimed at maintaining ties with pension customers after retirement — bringing the total number of lineups to five.
The With U program launched as a pilot in February last year through the company's exclusive sales channel and has since expanded to MetLife Financial Services, its subsidiary general agency (GA), partner GAs, and general consumers through the customer service app MetLife One.
With U Baby, the first program in the series, sold out every round during six pilot runs through the exclusive channel. Buoyed by that strong response, the program scaled up from August last year, distributing a total of 30,000 gifts over five months.
A MetLife Korea official said the With U series aims "to make MetLife a natural presence in customers' minds at every important moment in their lives," adding that the company will "continue to expand experiences that are part of customers' everyday lives."
