Paldo announced Wednesday that its "KBO Paldo Bibimmyeon Promotion," run in partnership with the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO), has surpassed 1 million player card registrations within a month of launch.
The promotion is a participatory event developed jointly by Paldo and the KBO, designed to let consumers engage with game-result-linked activities using KBO player profile cards included inside Paldo products.
Participants scan a QR code on a player profile card to access a dedicated mobile page, where they select a team to support and enter the card's unique number to register the player and earn points. Additional points are available for setting a starting lineup, assigning player positions and predicting match outcomes.
Scores are updated based on prediction results, and cumulative totals and rankings are displayed in real time. Monthly rankings determine prize winners, with rewards including gold and player-autographed uniforms.
"We will continue to ensure that the Paldo Bibimmyeon brand brings a fresh kind of enjoyment to everyday life," said Kim Dong-rak, Paldo's marketing director.
