Daewoo Engineering & Construction announced Wednesday that it will launch pre-sales of Dujeong Station Prugio Grand Peak in Seongjeong-dong, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, in August.

The complex will rise 35 above-ground floors over 2 below-ground levels across 10 buildings, comprising a total of 1,438 units in exclusive use areas of 59A, 59B, 74, 84, 101 and 114 square meters.

The large-scale Prugio development in Cheonan's original downtown area gives residents access to the established urban lifestyle infrastructure of the city center alongside the amenities of the Dujeong and Buldang residential districts. Daewoo Engineering & Construction plans to develop the complex into a landmark for Cheonan, reflecting the Prugio brand's design philosophy and differentiated product quality.

The complex is surrounded by a wide range of everyday conveniences, including E-mart, Lotte Mart, Shinsegae department store and Dankook University Hospital, as well as financial institutions, administrative offices and cultural facilities. Its proximity to the commercial districts of Dujeong-dong and Buldang-dong gives residents both the established lifestyle foundation of the original city center and the diverse infrastructure of newer residential areas.

Dujeong Station Prugio Grand Peak offers easy access to major Cheonan arterial roads, including Beonnyeong-ro and Dongseo-daero, as well as convenient regional travel via the Gyeongbu Expressway's Cheonan interchange. Dujeong Station and Cheonan Station are also within reach, making it easy to travel not only within Cheonan but also to the Greater Seoul area and neighboring regions.

The complex is well positioned for short commutes, with Samsung Display's Cheonan campus and several nearby industrial zones — including Cheonan's second, third and fourth general industrial complexes and the Baekseok agricultural and industrial complex — all close by. As the industrial belt continues to expand around the semiconductor and advanced technology sectors, the project is expected to benefit from growing residential demand in the area and long-term appreciation in value.

The development meets the standards expected of a large-scale Prugio brand complex. A south-facing layout and flat-plate-centered design maximize natural light and ventilation, while generous spacing between buildings and an efficient site plan ensure an open, unobstructed feel.

Community facilities will include children's playgrounds, a toddler play area, a residents' fitness facility, a small library, a shared childcare center, a daycare center, a senior citizens' lounge and a guesthouse. Extensive landscaping, rest areas and walking paths will create a comfortable residential environment. The complex will also incorporate energy-saving systems, lifestyle convenience features and safety-focused design, with the aim of establishing it as a leading branded residential development in Cheonan.

"Dujeong Station Prugio Grand Peak is a large-scale branded complex that combines Cheonan's rich urban lifestyle infrastructure, excellent transportation links and a location close to major workplaces," a Daewoo Engineering & Construction pre-sales official said. "We expect strong interest from end-users, backed by a diverse range of floor plans, the differentiated product quality unique to Prugio, and a wide variety of community facilities."

Meanwhile, Daewoo Engineering & Construction recorded 2.92 trillion won ($1.94 billion) in urban redevelopment project orders in the first half of the year.
