Actor Kim Soo-hyun has resumed professional activities.

His agency, Gold Medalist, said Tuesday that Kim is filming a commercial and shooting a pictorial for Philippine brand Bench.

The shoot marks his first official engagement in more than a year, since he suspended activities amid allegations involving the late Kim Sae-ron.

Kim stepped back from public life last year after allegations surfaced that he had been in a relationship with Kim Sae-ron from the time she was a minor. His agency subsequently filed complaints — including defamation charges — against Kim Se-eui, operator of the YouTube channel "Garosero Research Institute," which raised the allegations, as well as against the late actor's bereaved family.
