Tzuyu, a member of K-pop group Twice, is in discussions over renewing her contract with JYP Entertainment after 11 years with the agency.
News1 reported Tuesday that Tzuyu would continue participating in Twice's activities while letting her individual agency contract expire.
However, JYP Entertainment said the matter has not been finalized.
A JYP Entertainment official told Maeil Business Newspaper's Star Today on Tuesday, "Twice is currently in a contract renewal discussion period, and we will provide an update as soon as the matter is confirmed."
Tzuyu has been widely recognized as Twice's lead dancer and a standout visual member. Originally from Taiwan, she has built a following not only in South Korea but also in her home country, establishing herself as a global artist.
Meanwhile, Twice recently wrapped up their sixth world tour, "This Is For."
