Gunpo Mayor Han Dae-hee announced Monday a plan to fill eight team leader positions through an open recruitment process.
The positions open for application are team leaders for new media, investigation, general affairs, direct civil complaints, arts, corporate attraction, animal welfare and youth.
The recruitment is internal, with eligibility limited to grade-6 employees, including those currently without a designated post.
"This open recruitment system will serve as a key milestone in fulfilling my campaign pledge to secure transparency and objectivity in personnel affairs," Han said. "We will establish a fair organizational culture where employees are evaluated on competence and performance, giving staff opportunities for growth while delivering trustworthy city administration to residents."
