Park Bom of girl group 2NE1 has released an AI-composed original song titled "Letter," claiming her music has been targeted by hackers.

On Friday, Park posted the song on her Instagram alongside a message explaining her decision. "Someone has been hacking and keeps trying to take my songs, so I'm uploading this in advance," she wrote. "You were wondering why I was posting, right?"

The song appears to have been produced on an AI music composition platform. Its lyrics carry messages to fans, including "Hello, it's me, Park Bom, are you doing well?", "I miss you, so I'm writing a letter like this to fans across the country," and "You cheated, didn't you? You don't have to bring a gift — just come back to me right now."

Park also signaled that she intends to record the songs herself rather than release them as AI vocals. "All the songs I've posted so far have been tracks on my album," she said. "You'll be able to hear them all sung in my own voice later."

Earlier, on Wednesday, Park announced she would pursue work as a composer. "I've decided to just go ahead and work as a composer too — oh well," she wrote, before releasing a string of AI-composed originals including "Heaven," "A Morning With Nothing," "The World of Squares and Circles" and "A Rainy Day."

Park stepped back from activities last August citing health reasons and has been on hiatus since. Last month, she parted ways with her agency, D-Nation Entertainment, ending an eight-year exclusive contract.
