E-mart announced Wednesday it is launching new Peacock x Jung Kwan Jang collaborative products for summer wellness and offering discounts of up to 50% on health foods.

The new lineup comprises four products: red ginseng abalone samgyetang, a red ginseng cheonggukjang meal kit, red ginseng yogurt and red ginseng glucose candy. The products were developed through a collaboration between Peacock, E-mart's ready-meal brand, and Jung Kwan Jang, a specialist red ginseng brand.

A health food discount event runs from Thursday through July 15. In partnership with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, E-mart will sell live abalone from Wando — raised on seaweed — at 50% off for customers who accumulate Shinsegae points. Domestic freshwater eel (700g) will also be cut to half price, dropping from the regular 54,000 won ($35) to 27,000 won.

A two-pack of antibiotic-free young chickens, each weighing 500 grams, will be available at 40% off when purchased with a participating card. A free-range native chicken weighing at least 1 kilogram, packaged with baeksuk ingredients, will be sold at 10,980 won — a 5,000-won discount — for customers who accumulate Shinsegae points.

Seven varieties of samgyetang broth ingredient tea bags — containing items such as cordyceps and phellinus mushrooms — will be discounted by 1,000 won with Shinsegae point accumulation. Washed ginseng suited for samgyetang will also be sold at 20% off with point accumulation, in a tie-up with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

Ready-to-eat options are also available. Six Peacock samgyetang and baeksuk products — including mung bean samgyetang, oak mushroom baeksuk and nurungji samgyetang — will be 20% off with Shinsegae point accumulation. Customers who spend a combined 25,000 won or more will receive a 5,000-won Shinsegae gift voucher. Discounts from Jayeonjooeui, Ourhome and Moguchon will round out the promotion.
