The Lotte Giants shut out the KT Wiz 4-0 on Friday, powered by two home runs from Han Dong-hee and a dominant 6⅓-inning scoreless outing from starter Kim Jin-wook.
Lotte, sitting eighth in the standings, beat second-place KT on the road at Suwon KT Wiz Park in the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League regular season.
The Giants broke the scoreless tie in the top of the fourth inning. With one out and Victor Reyes on first after a single to right field, Han launched a two-run homer to center field to give Lotte the early lead.
Lotte's offense was held in check by KT starter Logan Allen through seven innings, but the Giants seized control in the top of the eighth after Allen was pulled. Leadoff batter Hwang Seong-bin reached on an infield single to the right side off reliever Jeon Yong-ju, and Ko Seung-min followed with a bunt single in front of third base on the first pitch, putting runners on first and second with nobody out.
Reyes then grounded into a double play, but Han delivered again — hitting a two-run shot over the right-field wall off KT's third pitcher, Lee Sang-dong, after working a full count.
Han finished 2-for-3 with a walk, four RBIs and two runs scored across his two home runs.
Kim earned his fifth win of the season against three losses, allowing five hits, one walk and one hit batter while striking out seven over 6⅓ scoreless innings. He also lowered his season ERA from 3.06 to 2.84.
KT injury-replacement foreign starter Logan pitched well, giving up two runs on six hits and two walks over seven innings, but took the loss.
