16 sessions across 7 regional training centers nationwide

Hands-on training expanded from boilers to window air conditioners

Rental service growth drives push for better maintenance and customer care

Kiturami is launching a large-scale training program for service engineers at dealerships across the country ahead of the peak heating season. The initiative comes as the company's product and service lineup has expanded beyond boilers to include window air conditioners and boiler rental services, requiring stronger field response capabilities.

The company announced Wednesday it will conduct its "2026 Dealer Service Technology Training" for more than 730 service engineers at dealerships nationwide.

The program runs through July 16, spanning 16 sessions at seven regional training centers — including the Kiturami Heating and Cooling Technology Research Institute in Magok, Seoul, and facilities in Cheongdo in North Gyeongsang Province, Daejeon, Gwangju, Uijeongbu, Gangwon Province and Jeju. Kiturami has held summer service training annually to prepare for the surge in heating demand during winter.

The range of products covered has expanded from residential boilers to the full heating and cooling lineup. Engineers will learn the characteristics of key heating products — including instantaneous gas boilers, storage-type gas boilers, oil boilers, gas water heaters, cascade systems and individual room control systems — along with troubleshooting procedures for common symptoms.

Separate sessions will cover window air conditioners. With summer now in full swing, hands-on instruction using the latest window air conditioner models will address installation procedures, inspection techniques and fault diagnosis. The expansion reflects how Kiturami, which started as a boiler company, has broadened its dealership service scope to include cooling products.

Customer service training will also be reinforced. As the company's boiler rental service, "Dasumcare," continues to expand, the volume of scheduled inspections and maintenance work has grown, prompting the addition of case-based service mindset training. In the rental model, the quality of regular upkeep and after-service response directly affects customer satisfaction.

In the boiler industry, summer is widely regarded as the maintenance window for preparing for the winter peak season. Because boiler inspection and repair requests concentrate during the cold months, advance training and a well-organized field response system are key factors in service quality.

"The expertise and field capabilities of our service engineers are the core competency that determines customer satisfaction and brand trust," a Kiturami official said. "As our product lineup diversifies and customer expectations for service rise, we will continue to expand hands-on training so we can deliver consistently high-quality service no matter where in the country a customer is located."
