Actor Moon Ga-young has signed an exclusive contract with Fantagio.
Fantagio announced Thursday that it had signed Moon to an exclusive deal. The agency also represents Cha Eun-woo, Baek Yoon-sik, Kim Seon-ho, Lee Sung-kyung, Ong Seong-wu, Lee Se-young, Astro, Lee Chang-sub and Lunate.
Moon made her debut as a child actor in the 2006 film "Bloody Reunion" and has since built a diverse filmography through drama series including "True Beauty," "Love in Contract," "Beneficial Fraud," "That Villain Is a Black Dragon" and "Seochodong."
She drew particular acclaim for her nuanced portrayal of the lead character Jeong-won in "Once We Were Us," which opened last December. The role earned her the best actress award in the film category at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards.
Moon is set to return to television as the lead character Heo Su-a in the tvN drama series "Whale Star: The Gyeongseong Mermaid," scheduled to air in 2027.
Fantagio Chairman Nam Gung-gyeon said he was "very pleased" to sign Moon, calling her an actor of "unlimited potential." He added that the agency would "spare no support" as a "solid partner" to help her "diverse talents and charm shine even brighter across various fields."
