Lotte Himart announced Friday it is building a "one-stop system" — spanning real estate transaction safety to home appliance purchases — through a joint marketing partnership with proptech firm Proptier.

Starting in July, Lotte Himart will offer E-Siljang Anshim Care, a solution designed to prevent accidents and losses in real estate transactions, through the E-Siljang real estate platform. Licensed real estate agencies offering the service will also provide a move-in all-care service that bundles moving, move-in cleaning and appliance cleaning.

Customers who purchase home appliances and sign up for E-Siljang Anshim Care will receive a 10 percent discount. E-Siljang Anshim Care subscribers who then buy appliances at Lotte Himart can receive discounts of up to 400,000 won ($257), depending on the purchase amount.

"We took into account that most customers moving home complete their real estate contracts before buying appliances, and that demand for safe real estate transactions is high," a Lotte Himart official said. "We plan to connect customers with real estate transaction safety services and strengthen customer touchpoints from the real estate transaction stage, so we can manage the home appliance lifecycle more closely."
