Lisa Allen (second from left), agricultural trade officer at the US Embassy in Seoul, and Keith Hu (second from right), international director of the Northwest Cherry Growers, joined models Wednesday morning to present Northwest American cherries at the group's "Cherry Day" event at Rizero Seoul in Jongno-gu. The name "Cherry Day" derives from reading July 2 in Korean as "chil-i-chil-i" (7-2-7-2). The Northwest Cherry Growers holds the annual event each year to promote the quality of Washington cherries.
