Service launches July 13, open to S.VIP and VIP members
Shinsegae Duty Free will launch an airport mobility service connecting customers' homes to the airport on July 13, targeting its top-tier VIP members.
Customers traveling to or from the airport can book a vehicle for a time and location of their choosing, and a professional driver will handle the pickup or drop-off. The service covers users of Incheon International Airport and Gimpo International Airport. To support the service, Shinsegae Duty Free has signed an exclusive partnership — the first in the industry — with Rainfor Company, a platform transportation operator licensed by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
The service is available to customers holding Shinsegae Duty Free's two highest membership ratings: S.VIP and VIP. Members can check their service coupons on the My Page section of the online store, then enter their vehicle preference, pickup time and flight details on the booking page.
Vehicles are assigned based on the number of passengers and amount of luggage, with options including a premium sedan or a van. The service syncs with flight information to adjust pickup times in real time, accounting for delays or other schedule changes.
"We will continue to identify benefits tailored to the needs of each membership tier, enhancing the value of our premium membership," a Shinsegae Duty Free official said.
