Online archive for rapid-integrated planning program begins full operation

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced Sunday it has launched full operation of an online archive compiling policy information on its rapid-integrated planning program, a public support initiative designed to accelerate and improve the quality of redevelopment projects in their early stages.

The city began building the archive in March, creating a platform that provides information on target sites, planning details, progress updates and related news — making it easier for residents in the early stages of redevelopment projects to understand how their projects are proceeding.

The number of target sites listed in the archive has grown from 83 at launch to 97, with site information and video materials also updated. On top of existing content, the archive now includes additional policy explainers and related materials.

The city expects the archive to serve as a high-value policy resource platform not only for the general public but also for professionals and researchers in urban planning, architecture and housing redevelopment.

"We will continue to build up and share the online archive, and work to ensure the rapid-integrated planning program advances on stable footing," said Ahn Dae-hee, head of the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Urban Space Bureau.
