Four Sokcho beaches open July 3
Cassia Sokcho, a resort overlooking Daepo Port in the coastal city of Sokcho, is expanding its pet-friendly vacation services this summer.
Marking the first anniversary of its pet room launch, the resort is promoting the "Pawfect Getaway" package — its flagship pet-vacation offering in Gangwon Province — and has upgraded its amenities, including new-model pet strollers.
Four beaches in the Sokcho area — Sokcho, Deungdae, Oeyongchi and Cheongho — are set to open July 3 and run through Aug. 23, a 52-day season. Organizers have strengthened safety management and added nighttime tourism activities.
Cassia Sokcho, one of the leading resorts on Gangwon Province's East Sea coast, has prepared a range of summer services ahead of the beach season, with pet-friendly vacations serving as a key draw for guests traveling with animal companions.
The resort, part of the global premium hospitality group Banyan Group, is further expanding its pet-friendly offerings in line with the trend, coinciding with the first anniversary of its pet room launch.
The "Pawfect Getaway" package, launched in response to growing demand for pet-inclusive vacations, bundles a range of wellness perks for both pets and their owners.
The package includes a one-night stay in a pet-friendly room equipped with non-slip mats, dedicated steps, food bowls and towels, along with freeze-dried fish and treats from Donghae-hyeongsssi, a premium pet food brand based in Goseong, Gangwon Province.
Also included are a healing brush and paw care essence from Pethroom, a pet bathrobe made in-house by Cassia Sokcho, and a breakfast to-go box for the owner — all designed to make travel with dogs more comfortable.
The resort has also upgraded its pet stroller rental service for guests traveling with dogs. The new strollers are integrated models from likalika, a pet lifestyle brand, allowing guests and their dogs to move around the property more conveniently and comfortably.
