A delivery driver who refused a customer's demand to bring packages inside — including parcels left by other courier companies — says he was mocked for pushing back.

The story surfaced recently on the online community Bobaedream in a post titled "Are delivery drivers servants?"

The driver, identified only as A, shared screenshots of a message exchange with a customer, identified as B, describing what had happened.

According to A, B had written in the delivery instructions: "It's a first-floor shop. Come around to the back door — there's a container door there. Open it and leave the package inside. Also bring in any packages that are sitting outside."

A replied that delivery rules require drivers to go only from door to door, and that a delivery driver is neither a customer's personal assistant nor their employee. A also noted the instructions were written as commands, not requests.

B responded with a mocking message: "If you can't do it, you could just say so — sending a whole message about it is such a tiring way to live lol."

A said it was wearing to be asked to bring in packages left by other courier companies as well.

Online commenters sided with the driver. "People like that never realize they're the problem," one wrote. Others said B was the one making life tiresome, not the driver. Additional comments included: "Seems like they think delivery drivers are errand boys," "Best not to engage with people like that," and "Just reading the message makes me angry."
