President Donald Trump has unveiled a limited-edition US passport bearing his portrait.
Trump posted a photo of the passport on his Truth Social account Thursday (local time), writing that it was "America's new passport" inscribed with the message "Welcome, but be good!"
The left side of the passport shows Trump standing with both fists clenched, brow furrowed, staring directly ahead against a backdrop of the Declaration of Independence. The right side features an illustration of the Founding Fathers signing the declaration.
The passport will be issued as a limited edition this summer to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. Trump's photo was updated from a draft design the Department of State released in April.
Fox News noted that the warning message Trump posted alongside the passport image came amid tightening US screening standards for foreign visitors.
The phrase signals a demand that tourists and non-immigrant visitors respect and abide by US laws and the country's system of governance.
The Department of State said the limited-edition passport with the new design will be issued to any American who applies, while supplies last.
