Jeong Jae-hun claimed his first win of the season on the 2026 KPGA David Golf Tour, the second-tier circuit, vaulting to the top of both the integrated points and prize money standings.
Jeong won the tour's 10th event, held Thursday and Friday at Solago Country Club's Lago Course (par 71) in Taean, South Chungcheong Province. He carded 13 birdies without a bogey over two rounds for a total score of 13 under par 129. The purse was 100 million won ($64,700).
Jeong joined the KPGA as a tour professional in 2015 but struggled to hold a full tour card, bouncing between the main tour and the second-tier circuit. The victory earned him 20 million won and lifted him to first place in both the integrated points and prize money rankings.
"My goal this season is to finish in the top 10 in David Golf Tour integrated points and secure a KPGA Tour card for the 2027 season," Jeong said. "I will do my best to add more wins in the remaining 10 events."
Kang Min-gu, Kong Jin-hwan and Park Jae-min finished in a three-way tie for second at 9 under par 133.
