Company backs federation for second consecutive year

Hankook Tire & Technology, a sponsor of the Korea Roller Sports Federation since 2025, will continue its partnership with the federation this year.

The Korea Roller Sports Federation said Friday that it held a sponsorship presentation ceremony with Hankook Tire & Technology during the 46th Korean Olympic Committee President's Cup National Inline Speed Skating Competition in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province.

At the ceremony, held before a large crowd of spectators, Jung Moon-young, head of the culture and public relations team at Hankook Tire & Technology, presented a sponsorship contribution of 5.5 million won ($3,560) to Kim Gyeong-seok, president of the Korea Roller Sports Federation.

Hankook Tire & Technology first joined as a sponsor last year, forging a connection with the federation around their shared association with wheels, and has since supported the federation's various projects in multiple ways. The federation expects the company to continue playing a strong supporting role in 2026.

"Thanks to Hankook Tire & Technology's partnership last year, we were able to achieve many great results, and I am very pleased that they will be joining us again as a sponsor in 2026," Kim said. "Skateboarding has been growing rapidly recently, and we will do our best to honor our sponsor's name with strong performances."

Jung also expressed appreciation for the partnership. "We are grateful to hear that the Korea Roller Sports Federation is growing with Hankook Tire & Technology's support," he said. "Beyond this sponsorship contribution, we will look for ways to foster mutual growth between our two organizations."
